Primary 1, 2 & 3 Eat for Free!
Dear Parent / Guardian,
On Jauary 5th 2015, Glasgow City Council in partnership with Cordia will launch free school meals for all Primary 1, 2 and 3 pupils.
From this date all pupils up to and including Primary 3 will have the opportunity to enjoy a nutritious free meal every school day at lunchtime in the Fuel Zone. There are no forms to fill in. Pupils simply have to turn up each day to enjoy a delicious lunch.
A selection of healthy options are on offer to make up a three course meal with milk or water. Select a main meal, drink and dessert. Choose as much fruit, vegetables, soup and bread as you like. Vegetarian and Halal diets are also catered for where required. If your child has any medical dietary requirements please contact your catering manager who will be happy to help or you can refer to the Medically Referred Diet leaflet which will be issued soon.
We will be sending out a copy of our menu in the next few weeks to allow you to see the full range of menu items, however if you would like to visit our website (www.fuelzoneprimary.co.uk) you can view the menu here. We do hope that pupils will take advantage of this service and look forward to welcoming them back in the Fuel Zone after Christmas.
