KELVINDALE COMMUNITY COUNCIL CONSULTATION

Please find below an invitation to contribute to the Kelvindale Community Council consultation regarding the improvement of the local playpark at Dorchester Avenue/ Weymouth Drive. Wendy is a Kelvindale parent as well as a member of the Kelvindale Community Council.

Dear Parent/ Carer,
Kelvindale Community Council has established a small sub-committee with the sole intention of improving the playpark at Dorchester Avenue/ Weymouth Drive. The sub-committee has funding of £19,000 allocated to this refurbishment and has been awarded a further £5,000 from the area budget. Further funding from other sources, including the Lottery Awards for All, will also be sought with a view to making the park a pleasant community space for young and old.
As part of the process the sub-committee need to consult with members of the local community on what they like and don’t like about the park and how they would like to see it improved. To do this, a survey has been created at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5ZGCHBK which people can complete and make suggestions. There is also a Facebook page, Kelvindale Playpark, where the sub-committee will post updates.
