New Primary Fuel Zone Menu
New Fuel Zone 123 Choices menu will be launched in all primary schools on 16th April 2012.
This menu has been compiled following extensive consultation with parent councils, pupil forums, teaching staff and catering teams. Cordia suppliers have had involvement to source and deliver new products which have been trialled prior to being on the menu.
The Spring/Summer menu has a 3 week cycle and will run until the October break when another new Autumn/Winter menu will be launched. The menu has been designed to give pupils more selection at lunchtime and features a new deli option serving fresh sandwiches, wraps and rolls every day.
The menu fully conforms to The Schools (Health Promotion & Nutrition) (Scotland) Act which as you know applies to all food and drink in schools.I am confident this revised menu will be welcomed by pupils and teachers.
