Evening Times Talent Competition
The Evening Times has launched Glasgow’s Star Turn, in association with Clyde 1, the Merchant City Festival and Halo Dental - a new competition to find the most talented people in Glasgow and the West of Scotland. Readers can upload video and audio clips showcasing their acts. Be it singing, dancing, playing the bagpipes or performing magic tricks - whatever it is they want to see it!
Their judging panel will then whittle down the number of entrants who will then be voted for by the public to save their favourite act. Week by week they will drop the number of acts until they reach the Top 10. This lucky final 10 will then be invited to perform at Glasgow’s Star Turn, at the Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow on July 30, where celebrity judges will decide the final winner, who will receive a cheque for £1000 and be crowned Glasgow’s Star Turn 2012 !
