Walk to School Challenge
18th – 22nd November 2013
Kelvindale Primary is once again taking part in
Road Safety Week to help children learn road safety
skills in their local area.
As an Eco School ‘Active Travel’
and walking to school is an easy way for us all to support our ‘Eco Friendly Ethos’. During the ‘Walk to School Challenge’, each class will record daily the number of children actively travelling to school in an eco friendly way and the class with the highest percentage score will receive a very healthy 15 minutes of extra play.
I’m sure you’ll agree this is a healthy and worthwhile initiative and we look forward to seeing lots of children walking, cycling or using scooters to come to school where feasible.
