P4 have been learning all about Ancient Egypt. Painting and collage were used to create beautiful women from Ancient Egypt, highlighting their glamorous jewels. The importance of the Nile was discussed and the significance of the Nile Delta’s shape looking like a lotus flower.
We learned how Shadufs were used to irrigate the fields all along the River Nile.
We loved learning about Tutankhamum - the youngest Pharaoh and Howard Carter’s discovery of his amazing tomb! We made our own plans of King Tut’s tomb. We also drew our own gods and goddess’.
